I think the only thing that save d Doku from giving away the penalty was Macallister turns away from the ball.If he don’t it’s a penalty. Best point we have won all season.

so its not a foul because he's turned around? that's as bizarre a take as Mike Dean!
VAR didn't give it because Doku touched the ball before assaulting MacAllister.
I thought VAR didn’t ask Michael Oliver to review because Doku’s challenge was deemed a reasonable one, in as much as it was a ball he was entitled to challenge for in that manner.

Exactly and after winning the ball his leg was going down and away from MacAllister, we have to remember not every contact in the box is a foul.
But that’s a free kick all day long outside the box

No intent, 2 players going for the ball, contact after the ball is played, wouldn’t be a foul anywhere on the pitch for me, in all seriousness if that had been given it would of ruined the game for me.
Great game, possibly the 2 best teams in Europe atm, the old cliche of a game of 2 halves and a good example of why I think Lpool will win the PL.
