I thought he had it spot on. Plenty of agreement elsewhere in the media. Not sure what a failed managerial career and opinions as a pundit have in common

As a former successful professional footballer who has played with some of the worlds best players and won virtually every trophy on offer, and a failed football manager, aswell as being involved in the failure at another international tournament with England coaching, i expect a more professional approach from Neville given he knows how tough it is to win a game of football at the highest level.

Now, as much as he is entitled to his opinion, as we all are by the way, he should in my opinion show a certain level of respect and maybe think a little before he opens his mouth.

It’s almost like he’s paid a lot of money to give strong opinions that drive debate about football.

Chelsea never crumbled under pressure at all. They simply ran out of steam and tried to get to penalties. Its a tactic that has been used by many of teams in numerous finals but it just backfired.

Some of he criticism of Manchester United is warranted, the manager has been there 18months, spent an awful lot of money and was highly praised by Neville for there efforts last season.

The job as a Sky PL pundit/analyst is a highly respected position. They have a platform that reaches all 4 corners of the footballing world. By all means have an opinion, but keep it respectful. With the performamce Chelsea gave to call them Bottle jobs in my opinion is not fair.
I think it was completely fair. Just because someone is offended or does not agree by the term "bottle job", it doesn't mean it isn't an appropriate description. It was his opinion, that others shared. He also explained this yesterday.

Also, not sure what 90 mins you were watching? It was an awful game, both teams were poor

You certainly wasnt watching the same game as me or Neville.

In other news, should Eddie Howe be getting worried?

He never takes long to be found out.

Overrated manager.

Can't set up a defence for an ex defender. Criminal .

Papered over it last season by signing one of the best shot stoppers

Been found out already

Stellar work

He’s lucky that the press have spent the entire season to date focusing on getting Erik ten Hag the sack. Newcastle have had injuries, granted, but they have underperformed and then some.
