Also,

I think the biggest flop of the season is Tom Davies haircut.

I appreciate he isn't the highest earner in the PL, but he is still on £30,000 a week. At that salary, I reckon I could find a decent hairdresser on the High Street. But, whoever has done that to his head should be sacked immediately. Unless it is some sort of dare, which I see as the only real plausible explanation.

Kalvin Phillips hair is ridiculous as well, but at least a bit of effort has gone into making him look like the Predator's young daughter. And I suspect Kalvin Phillips could soon be considered as the overall flop of the season, so I don't think he should win the hair award as well :)

I think he will and should be allowed to stay in post if they’re relegated. Three teams must be relegated each year. This would happen even if the twenty best managers and teams started the season in the division.

I think a difference with Cooper was that he never seemed to try to instil a more progressive and modern way of thinking into a team who were previously seen as old fashioned and lacking. Not saying that’s true or not, I don’t know enough about Forest, but it’s certainly the perception I’ve observed from the media.

I'm sort of assuming you're a Burnley fan....that correct? If so, what's the fans general view on Kompany? I listen to various Forest podcasts and one of them had a Burnley fan on before a game against us. He was saying the fans would like Kompany to stay and build even if they get relegated. That reflective for most fans, do you think?

It's actually pretty much how I felt about Cooper last season when he was under pressure - that even if we'd gone down I wouldn't have wanted him gone. I'd have trusted him to give us the best chance of building. Thing with Cooper was that he started last season setting us up the same way as we played in the Champ. It didn't work and we got tonked most weeks. He then completely switched his style of play to a so-called "low-block", defending with our lives and trying to score on the break. "Cooper-ball" it became known as among our fans and not fondly by some!

Certainly worked last year, it kept us up and kept him in the job. Trouble was this season there was this expectation we'd kick on, change the style of play to more exciting football, get better. It didn't and that's what cost him his job in the end, sad as it was for a lot of us.

No, I’m not a Burnley fan. My team plays further down the pyramid than the top division but I’m more of a football fan than a supporter of the one team. I have friends who work for two PL clubs though so I keep an eye out for those clubs.

Early news is looking like Jota and Jones are out for the season 🤬😢

Gutted for both of them as they have been key to us challenging on all four fronts

We now have out for the Luton game

Allison
TAA
Matip
Thiago
Bajetic
Szoboszlai
Jota
Jones

Then also young Doak

And potentially Mo might not be fit for Luton

Going to be playing the next couple of games with the bench loaded with kids

Staggering how we are still getting the results

And therein is the ready built excuse if they don't win the title.

A lot of clubs' fans are the club's worst enemies. The expect to come and play beautiful football, but be defensively sound and stay up. Sorry but it's one or the other 99% of the time. You can try and play the nice-to-watch football, or play the pragmatic football that gets you points - not both. If you're getting neither then you can ask for the manager to go.

This is absolutely the case with Forest. The fanbase on Twitter/X is about as toxic as it comes and every day there's drama about something.

I was a big Cooper fan, but there's no denying that since NES has come in, we are playing more attractive, exciting football BUT (until Saturday), very leaky at the back. We are getting some players back which should help shore up the back line now and we are an absolute danger to society going forward with the pace we have. I love Cooper and always will, but NES coming in has been nothing but positive so far (and probably should have happened 4-5 games sooner than it did)

Ain't that the truth - I have to stay off Twitter sometimes, purely for the good of my mental health! :ROFLMAO:

Surely though, it's the same for all clubs.....?! Isn't it.....?!?!

Middlesbrough’s Twitter is just as bad. Before the Leicester game it was sack Michael Carrick. After the game it was getting his contract sorted. Pick a topic, whether it be players, subs, tactics what shade of green the grass is, it’s just mental.

Next season’s ticket pricing was announced last week, and a section of fans want a mass walk out on 30 mins next Saturday even though they had the 3rd highest financial losses last year.

How's Lewis O'Brien doing over there? Was a bit sad he wasn't given more of a chance at Forest last season as he looked spritely when he was fit.

I'd like to say I'm sad about this, but I'd be lying. Gives us a shot at getting something from the game when you come to the City Ground in a few weeks. a 1-0 smash and grab again would be lovely.

Just back after a good while off with a nasty broken ankle that required surgery. Had a cracking game on Saturday and really shone.

I really need to start making progress in my Fantasy Team, so given Liverpool have a double game week, I transfered in both Diaz and Jota. So, it was inevitable that at least one of them was either going to get a nasty injury or red card in the first half of the first match. So, the Jota injury was no surprise to me. Thankfully Diaz stayed fit, but then I suppose he'll score an own goal and then get a straight red card in the first half against Luton.

Good to hear - he's a real midfield general from what I saw of him here. I wouldn't have him back for the midfield we have now, as I love every single one of them and genuinely believe we have a very underrated midfield depth, but he was nothing but positive when he pulled on a Forest shirt.

In that case, please continue to use Liverpool players in your fantasy team plentifully. (y)

Just hope that the news about Mo is false , we will still have a solid 11 but options on the bench will be very young

Of your last 5 league games...
Jones played against Brentford, Burnley, Arsenal, Chelsea and Bournemouth
Jota played against Brentford, Burnley, Arsenal, Chelsea and Bournemouth
TAA played against Burnley, Arsenal and Chelsea
Szoboszlai played against Chelsea
Alisson played against Chelsea, Bournemouth

Staggered how you are still getting results? Dont be daft...you dont even have a mini injury crisis.

Over the last 2 months we have had

Alisson
Robbo
Gomez
Matip
TAA
Tsimikas
Bradley
McAllister
Szoboszai
Thiago
Jota
Salah

Out injured

Add in Endo as well who has been missing

yes I believe its quite staggering that we are still competing across all four fronts

And those resources are going to be further stretched in the coming weeks
