It hasn't worked. But, if you've got the same refs that were previously giving decisions to the big teams still refereeing and being used in the VAR room why would anything change? It's still the same refs giving the same decisions but with one of their mates on VAR to back them up. Unless someone has an alternative suggestion, it has to be either bias, incompetence or corruption that is the reason that so many decisions go in favour of the bigger teams.
The one in the Forest game is a shocker! What’s VAR doing there?
stonewall penalty for me.

So you can be offside from a free kick but if your shirt is pulled it’s a pen ??? ( Newcastle game)
How many shirt pulls do we see and nothing is given.

Interesting reaction from Rodri in the after match comments , complaining about VAR and not getting anything

Guess that will be a fine coming for him

Walkers dive or attempt to gain a penalty was embarrassing and was good to the referee not get fooled by it

In the Arsenal match as well as the Trossard dive I was surprised to see the ref didn’t even give a foul for the Odegaard challenge on Ramsey

The second yellow for Phillips was a joke

And it’s a clear penalty imo for Forestb

So Liverpool have been treated joint worst with Wolves!
How so? Surely, the only spin you can put on this that it has benefited them least.

Probably, the 2 most justifiable contentious issues affecting Liverpool (Spurs offside & Arsenal handball) don’t feature, and for balance neither does the Jota penalty. If those type of incidents aren’t included the whole premise of the article is bogus.

That’s a nice cherry picked list they’ve picked there.

I believe they are stats that show when VAR has intervened

So mainly offsides or where a ref has been sent to the screen

It doesnt include the Diaz offside or the Odegaard handball and wont include incidents like Williams yesterday

Because they are joint bottom of this table!
I try not to spin anything we’re joint bottom as I commented!

If it dosnt include all the incidents what’s the point ?
Another useless stat.😳

Agree the Phillips red.
Hes a midfield player and must challenge for balls like that.
The other guy just beat him to the ball.
very harsh imo.

Sheffield are an absolute banker to go down. Really, really poor.

Bizarre from Holgate. Utter madness and inexcusable.

Sheffield and Burnley are going, it's one place left to fill 😬

What I don't get is the reaction from the player himself

If you make a bad tackle that's an accident you see the players apologise or if hurt something genuine concern

He was shocked he was booked?
