"That was not good. I'll let it go this time. But don't do it again. Oh, you've done it again ..."

And, it doesn't matter if it was the same player or not. They may earn a sackfull of money but it doesn't necessarily mean they ever engage their brains.

I don't think it should work that way. I don't mind a bit of leeway early on, within reason, but if fouls start to build up the ref has to draw a line eventually. Once the line has been crossed then they have to be consistent.

That's not to say no cards early on but I understand trying to hold off where possible.
Check the foul on Nunez about 60 seconds after the red card.
Similar challenge !Stops him on halfway line, arms around his neck nothing. Nunez was booked for it for complaning.

inconsistent to say the least!

I'm guessing the ref didn't see it clearly enough or didn't think it enough of a foul.

He had no choice regarding the complaining, he lost it. Under the new guidelines he has to be carded.

let too much go early on, booked far too many players second half and was totally inconsistent on how long a throw/fk should take

saying that for Taylor Ive seen far far worse!

But was today really a game that had 9 yellows and a red (and I say that as someone who won money betting on cards!)
Spot on I can’t remember a bad challenge. Second half anyway ( missed the first half).

He seen it he gave a foul.

It was more or less the same as the second yellow.
Thats the problem , inconsistency.

Did Arsenal win the league tonight or just a game?

Seriously lame scenes from their players and manager, you’re not going to be close to the title, get back in your box.

and the celebration police are out again lol, go and join Keys and Carragher

Why do fans of other clubs criticise players and managers for celebrating? do you want soul less robots who just walk off after beating the top of the table? Do you criticise Villa players and Emery when they celebrate your wins?

I'd have thought the Arsenal fan would be over the moon. Instead most of his comments are related to criticising the referee and taking offence to any pundit who may have said anything slightly negative about Arsenal. Ironically, it's the Arsenal fan who seems to have radiated most negativity :) . At one point I thought Neville was having an Arsenal love in, but I guess he must have been too critical when Liverpool equalised?

I didn't really see much wrong with the referees performance. But if you ate going to evaluate about 150 incidents during a game where fouls were given or not given, you will always find inconsistency to some degree. Referees have to try and manage the game somehow, especially as players will often play on the edge. I don't remember him getting any howlers wrong, like the defenders for both teams.

Arsenal were decent today. Liverpool looked fragile at back, and their attack seemed non existent
