Prince William clearly shows his reasons why

“Taking such a long flight would involve creating a large carbon footprint, which goes against William’s commitment to tackling climate change. The prince launched the Earthshot Prize in 2019 in an effort to find solutions to repair and regenerate the Earth.”

The same people being critical of him not being there would be jumping right on him if he did make the flight pointing out his “hypocrisy” in regards climate change - he didn’t go to the Men’s World Cup as well

If the figurehead President was a non royal IMO the op wouldn’t have said a word

It’s a shame that the ladies got to the final and some just want to concentrate on anti establishment

We’ll agree to differ. As far as the OP wouldn’t have commented if it was a non-Royal, I know where you’re coming from, and I’ve had some humdingers with him in that respect, but everyone, irrespective of the personal opinion will come up with a valid point.

As for the question of what men's league they could compete in...for crying out loud why the hell (again) is that old line tripped out. Against their peers they are the European Champions and World Cup Runners Up.

They would of course be "smashed" playing against men. Lauren Hemp is nails but her average opponent is likely to be 4-6 inches taller and a couple of stones heavier plus loaded with testosterone...

Anyway. If you don't think it's good enough quality just stop watching it.

Well said Amanda. Guys were happy to watch Wrexham in the Conference play-offs without looking to draw comparisons to the divisions above but, I hope subconsciously, seem happy to dis the Ladies game.

It’s been a fantastic journey, with so many ups and downs. I hope it further kick starts the Ladies game, following on from the Euros.

Man, Everton are appalling. And I've only had it on since half time. I really thought they'd improve this season. And DCL is injured again. They must be losing patience with him by now.
I think it was a head injury, so at least it is probably not an issue with any long term issues he may be having.

Welcome JWP

That's exactly why he is worth every penny of that 30 million

Means we don't have to carry a player to play cresswell in the team

Better set piece taker. Great footballer. 30 mil? After some of the summers fees that's just one of the signings of the summer £ for £ value wise

Has wa Willie yet explained exactly what is preventing his attendance in support of our national women's team?
As it stands he appears to be clearly so far out of touch with the feelings of the nation that it's probably best he steps down from his role in the FA. As football fans don't forget such things I can just imagine the stick he'll get when he next turns up at a ground......
Where's Willie
where's Willie
Is he here
Is he here
There he is (thousands pointing)
There he is
What a plonker
What a plonker (or even worse)
Your signature says it all really.

So you're anti royal, woke and a virtue signaller. Got anything constructive to add to the discussion?

Can we please remove "woke" as some kind of insult or bad thing

Being aware to those around you and their issues when not going through them yourselfs isn't a bad thing

In fact if you don't show empathy to others suffering your a bit of a twit.
