If it’s got this far and Bayern have spent all that time bidding then surely they have been given indications that he wants to leave

If he does stay then he has zero ambition to win trophies and it’s about personal goals for him
He’s also got a young family,I’m sure that comes into it.

Plus if I had to choose between a player happy to keep the bench warm and pick up winners medals OR one who strives to be the best there ever has been - I'd take the latter all day long.
If he stays at Spurs does he sign a new contract?
If not surely that’s worse for Spurs than him actually leaving.

I think the family may well be the primary issue here.

I have absolutely no doubt, had a Premier League club vying for the top four and playing Champion’s League football come in for Kane, and had Spurs agreed a deal with such a club, Kane would not have hesitated to go.

He would then tick the boxes which appear to be important. Winning silverware, playing Champion’s League football, overhauling Shearer’s scoring record and keeping his young family in a country with a familiar culture.

We will see, but I’m not sure he’ll go.

I read Bayern and some of his entourage had already picked a house....

If Levy would have sanctioned that move to City Kane would have gone and it would have been the right move for him.

But I think we all know Levy wouldn’t sell him to an English club and I always thought he wouldn’t go to Bayern because of his young family.

We all know how much influence our wives have on our lives and I can’t think she would want to uproot her children, and they generally get what they want 😂

I'd be surprised if they would announce the price had been agreed without being sure Kane wanted to go in principal? Wouldn't that be a tad embarrassing and an insult to Bayern? Not that I mind the Germans having one up them (Captain Mainwaring)!!

Story was probably leaked by Bayern to try and put pressure on him to go.

I still think the most sensible thing for him would be see out his contract then move for free in a year. He'll have more options then, and I suspect the chance to stay in England and get the record. But whatever he does good luck to him.

Alex Scott looks to be going to Bournemouth.
Surprised none of the bigger clubs have taken a gamble on him.
My son lives in Bristol and goes along to a few games. He sees him as decent but £20m+ is pretty premature. I suspect teams were sitting back to watch one more season of him and Bournemouth have jumped early. It's a gamble that could pay off, or not 😄 (perhaps why it's called a gamble 🤭)

He sees it a decent return for Bristol. Whether Bristol fans agree is a different matter of course. Hopefully he does well, always good to see young talent come through.

Wonder if they’ve got a sell on clause🤔

I’ve not seen much of him tbh,but heard lots of people “in the know” talk about how good he is.
One good season could see him go for £80m.
Or he bombs 🤷‍♂️

You have to hope they have a clause in. Criminal if not.

The rest, absolutely. Bournemouth have taken the risk, he has not been under the radar. They'll be hoping they've done a Brighton.

I think the family is all a smoke screen - it’s not as if Munich is all the way across the globe it’s a mere hop in a plane

He wants that Prem goal scoring record - it’s not even the top flight record - that’a Jimmy Greaves , think Kane just about gets into the top 20 at the moment

If I was a Spurs fan I would want him to go now , he clearly doesn’t want to be at the club , he tried to leave already , take the £90mil and bring in Toney and Mitrovic as an example and build again

He is going to leave next summer for nothing because he won’t sign a new contract

And which Prem club will grab him ?

Man Utd - just spend £80mil
City - Haaland

Won’t go to Liverpool or Arsenal - maybe Chelsea

Can’t believe no one has mentioned Ward-Prowse going to West Ham from Southampton, unless I’ve missed it of course.
That’s a great signing for me, experienced Premiership player and his dead balls are superb.

His dead ball delivery really is superb, but does he offer much apart from that?

Family is a big thing to people Phil.
It’s ok saying it’s just a hop on a plane.
But it’s just like driving 30mins for the kids to go see their grandparents, for example.

Can’t believe Barnsley actually did good business for once with Stones.

I would love this to be true. He’s a quality player and elevates our midfield 100%. However, I’m absolutely confident Chelsea’s Lavia bid is them “ruffling our feathers” ahead of Sunday and this is a retaliatory feather ruffle.

Come the end of the window I expect Lavia in red and Caicedo in blue.
If Liverpool couldn’t pay the money for Bellingham how can they for Caceido?
