I find Henderson the worst hypocrite for this. He isn't done at the top he could easily go to any out of top 6 club and not look out of place

To be fair I'd have him at West ham.

He was a massive supporter of LGBT rights and vocal that the world cup shouldn't be in Qatar but when push comes to shove hes taken the cash

Could easily have 2-3 more years at this level on a fair wage aswell
Didn’t you say his legs were gone and was Past it?

Henderson is 33 , no top 6 club is going to spend money bringing him in

We have brought in some new midfielders and there is no doubt more are going to arrive - he turned up for Pre seaskn looking to go again but imo was told he would be automatic first choice anymore and would have found himself on the bench more

That’s when Saudi team gave him the offer and he went - playing wise you can see why he has done it but morally after his work with LGBT thats where imo it’s poor

Playing wise Fabinho is the poor choice when he has at least 3/4 years at the top level

But say Luton, forest , Sheffield United he could get in the team

Even villa imo due to the amount of games they will play this season

None of those teams are going to spend the transfer fee and wages on him at his age

He isn’t Milner who is a machine when it comes to fitness - Henderson started to get niggling injuries and his big key for us was his pressing and energy and ability to recycle the ball plus his experience

His career is prob in its last two years and that’s why he has gone - he will play week in week out and get paid a lot - he will prob still be involved in England as well

I’m disappointed in him because of his views on LGBT rights and then going there on a moral standpoint

Elanga to Forest. Interesting to see how he does. Could be a really smart bit of business, we will only know as the season goes on (yes, I know that is a bit obvious but he has not had a run in the PL yet). I'd have taken him at Everton, well done Forest.

Haha. Absolutely zero chance he gets into our midfield.

Yea, I'm really excited. Suits our style of play better than United (punish on the counter rather than possession football). Can pick out a pass and his speed on the left, Johnson's on the right and Awoniyi bullying CB's up the middle, could cause some problems (hopefully!). Hard to believe he's still only 21 with 50 appearances in the Premier League and Champions League, as well as internationally.

The rumour mill is giving strong hints about who the Premier League figure The Athletic have highlighted is. Of course I won’t name anyone while it’s still not confirmed but it’ll be interesting to see where this goes.
