Sporting looking up for it against Bodo Glimt. Should be two up already after 4 minutes.

Make that 3up in 10 minutes.

4 in 13.

Bodo just need to ride out the early storm.

Just come accross this and I find it quite astonishing, especially when you realise how poor United have been these last few years when compared to both Real Madrid and Barcelona.

He's got to be a shoo-in for Player of the Season? Looks on course to break the assist record if he gets 4 more.

Think Semenyo is the other player that could challenge him, maybe Gabriel.

This is a good read re the Chelsea situation. But kinda read between the lines.

There really is loads of angles to look at this story and I am especially interested in it from a City perspective, but and this is a massive but. What planet is this tit on. Seriously one Man Utd prat actually said this.

Galling" is how one former senior Manchester United executive - who was at Old Trafford during that period - described the Chelsea situation to BBC Sport. Speaking on condition of anonymity, they claimed that "United lost out on players, Hazard most prominently [in 2012], due to their actions."

Really, your bloody club has screwed that club and its fans over for an absolute bloody fortune in that period and you have the moral compass to judge another team. No wonder you wanted to remain anonymous. You are part of the problem in football and there are many.

To be fair Tash, it was between Utd and Chelsea for Hazard after Arsenal dropped out. It seems like they got the deal done by some very dodgy ends and it did have an impact on the coming decade as he was such a good player. I remember at the time talk of a bribe. There's nothing wrong with Man Utd feeling wronged by it.

The whole thing is unique in the sense it's crimes from a previous owner and the current owners found it out and self reported. They gained an advantage but didn't breach any FFP rules if they were retrospectively applied today, which is why they haven't had a points deduction. It was essentially about money to agents and avoiding tax.

Whatever your thoughts about the penalty, Sporting have had enough chances to win this game twice....or maybe loan some chances to some of the other clubs that need to come back from 3 goals down!!!

And this is the bit I find a bit odd. Does money paid to agents not come under ffp rules. 🤔
