I think Spurs have a lot of good players as individuals and could see a lot of them doing well in other sides.
At the moment though as a side they lack the effort and desire needed.
It’s almost like they are trying to throw each other under the bus rather than fighting for each other.
They seem to be lacking leadership on the pitch as well. Romero is a red card waiting to happen and is the captain but I don’t know who else they could have instead.

They look like a team that needs a right good Frank and open discussion together get everything out and then come together for the rest of the season.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave it to Redknapp until the end of the season.

Spurs getting a new manager now almost feels like a false economy, the players look like they downed tools months ago and hoping for that "new manager bounce" just doesn't seem like its going to happen. Of all the teams down the bottom they're the most in danger as there seems to be no fight, no wanting to drag the club through this, they all look like they're already working on getting out of a sinking ship.

I don’t think the players have downed tools they put in plenty of effort in last nights game as they have done in other games but they are like headless chickens and running about.

I’m not saying the players have performed well far from it but imo most of the problems are that Frank didn’t get the most out of the players which surprised me as I thought he would do well.
Tuder has been a disaster the sooner he’s gone the better.

@Orikoru I think the issue you might have with your stay or go analysis is that you have binned pretty much all of your team. Do you really want to drop a division and gamble that you can replace 8-9 of your starting 11? It is not that easy.

Perhaps you need to hold your nerve, as Newcastle did for example, and keep hold of nearly everyone and go for the immediate bounce back. That way you don't need to buy big this summer and then again the following summer if you get promoted. Hold onto as many as possible and get them to bring you straight back.

Ha ha. A Barcelona fan with limited English turned up at St James Park to watch the game with a valid ticket. His only problem, his sat nav took him to St James Park Exeter. Good job they were at home yesterday. Staff sorted him a ticket so at least he got to see a game.

Sure, but it's not out of wanting to sell everyone. It's more that these players will be thinking of themselves as too big for the Championship and will want out. If you don't get rid you have a player who doesn't want to be there and won't bother putting a shift in to get you promotion. And having a clear-out is no bad thing when the majority don't have the right attitude. There are still plenty of players you keep. Kinsky, Spence, Danso, Bissouma, Sarr, Gray, Bergvall, Maddison, Solanke hopefully, Odobert when he's recovered, maybe Bentancur if nobody else wants him, maybe they'll extend Davies' contract for another year if we're down a division. Souza is a young player we've brought in so I imagine he stays. Weirdly we still own Manor Solomon who was good in the Championship. Ashley Phillips has been playing Championship football for two years at Stoke, so he could come into the side. Mikey Moore still only 18 but doing well at Rangers right now, I'm sure he could have an impact in the Championship.

I would agree with you that they have been far to easy to play against but to say they have downed tools is wrong imo, look at last nights game after the disastrous first 15-20 mins for the rest of the game I wouldn’t say they downed tools far from it the effort was there.

Effort has to last 90 mins they lost that game inside of 15! Downing tools is just a phrase for you can see they have not played for their managers for a long time. But like you say we can disagree
