Whilst I have no intention of getting embroiled in the debate on this one, what I will say is this...Bradley is a straight player, more old school than is probably good for him at times. If he is down like that it means he is hurt. The Liverpool players aren't trying to pull him anywhere, just check on how he is.
I saw it in real time, watching the game. It was obvious to me he was hurt the moment he went down like he did, and sadly his season is over now. I just hope he is able to recover fully and come back even stronger.
Sorry but this is like listening to Slot.
Our players don’t dive, our players don’t fake injury.

Oh, he absolutely wasn't aware of what was happening. I agree he was properly hurt.

That’s about it🤷‍♂️
Biggest myth in football management.
I honestly don’t know why he is in the conversation.
I would have him back in a heartbeat, got us to champions league final playing great football, contending for top 4 regularly.
If Levy backed him more after the final I’m convinced we would have won more trophies.
Wrong move for him when he went to Chelsea and his career has stalled since.

Barcelona utterly dominating Madrid in the Super Cup Final.

...and just as I type this Vinicius Jnr scores an individual wonder goal to equalise.

...and Lewandoski puts Barca back in front within a minute or two.

oh wow....oh wow....oh wow!!!

Its now 2-2.

3 minutes of additional time at the end of the first half and we have had goals in 45+2, 45+4 and 45+6 minutes.

Been far too much looking for find a way to point a finger at Bradley or Liverpool players for the incident

A lot of it comes down to how players act when they go down and timewasting and refs can play a part in sorting it out

Thankfully the injury isn’t an ACL but it’s still going to be next season until we see him again , gutted for him to get injured in such a freak way

Have they got access to or the ears of the board?

If so, then that is utterly scandalous, and no manager can operate under such conditions if ex players and managers are chirrupping their opinions to Ratcliffe and his cohorts.
It appears to be the consensus that they do have input of some sort. According to recent reports the current temp incumbent was asking Fergie for advice last week, even today you could see cuts to the crowd of Fergie lambasting the play with Butt and Scholes. Several of the more recent managers were appointed after seeking advice from Fergie.

I’m only going by what I read in reports and hear from downs that are Utd fans. Who all seem to agree with Keane that they’re still allowing that shadow above have to much influence on where they’re at instead of simply moving on and starting properly fresh.

There were some reports that he is regularly there at the training ground and recently met with Wilcox and Berrada

So flash in the pan at Spurs.
I’m not saying he’s a bad manager, but I don’t get why he gets mentioned in the same conversation as proven managers.

Well there's nothing like that to undermine the current incumbent. Bordering on grounds for constructive dismissal if you ask me.

It’s certainly going to create issues for any manager at the club - said it before it’s why Paisley asked Liverpool to speak to Shankly about him continuing to turn up at training after he resigned

Brighton
Just rumour or actual evidence?

Roy Keane stunned the Sky Sports studio after describing Sir Alex Ferguson as a "bad smell" whilst discussing Manchester United's current managerial predicament. Reports emerged this week that Ferguson, 84, held discussions with chief executive Omar Berrada and director of football Jason Wilcox following the club's decision to dismiss Ruben Amorim.”

From what I understand, Wilcox strongly suggested to Amorim that he needs to play 4 at the back, and potentially disagreed with signing certain types of players. Wilcox had also said previously, in his role at Utd, that first and foremost he is a coach, and he struggles not to interfere. This looks to have prompted Amorims outburst about being a manager, and people being influenced by the likes of Neville and other pundits.

Wilcox was prepared to support Amorim. At some point he got cold feet. A big mistake he seems to have made was to insist footballing matters upon Amorim. Instead, they should have decided a new direction was needed, and at least have some sort of plan when they let Amorim go. Amorim's comments were relatively tame, his sacking seemed a knee jerk reaction and pointless. Which means we are in a position with a caretaker to the future caretaker manager

When they go back to ex United players, they just seem to go for wrng ones. Yes men. People that still openly go and ask Fergie for help. Just give the job to Fergie flip sake.

They'll never ask Keane, because he has never mended his relationship with Fergie. That will be too awkward for the board. But, Keane is the best leader we have ever had. He didnt need to speak, he just needed to look at a player and they knew exactly what he meant. He seem to have mellowed, or at least we have had time to see his funny, personable side. He is onside with a lot of the media, and I'd love to see other smart arse journalists try and trip him up with questions in press conferences.

Not saying he'd be able to turn the mess around, but if you are looking at Ole to come in, a million percent more I'd have Keane. At least give fans someone to cheer at the end of the season. But the board is weak, it seems. Starting to really dislike Wilcox.

Anyway, Keane may not even do it, if asked, anyway. He seems to have a pretty decent professional life right now. Would he be interested in day to day management?

Keane has done nothing in management though bar a half decent spell at Sunderland nearly 20 years ago. He could also start a fight in an empty room. If he's the answer then things must be really bad. He was a great leader as a player, leading as a manager is totally different. Players don't respect a manager that rants and raves these days.

Ole will do a great job and he might bring in Keane as his assistant which is probably his idea role.

On the subject of Man Utd, yes they've had a poor decade or so since Ferguson went but it's not as bad as people think. In a pretty volatile time with bad appointments and terrible dealings in the transfer market, they've still won 2 FA Cups, 2 League Cups, 1 Europa League and reached 5 more major finals. Finished 3rd or better in 4 seasons too.

Wilcox is a joke though, no experience or track record of success at a big club so a very weird apppointment. He seemed to sack Amorim more for his comments than his shocking results which is a red flag.

Seeing Bradley pulled like that by another player reminded me of a time KDB once went down injured. And someone tried to pick him up. Again he was injured ( not hurt) and spent some considerable time on the side lines. I remember being at a game when a Southampton player went down injured and he spent some time off injured. In all three instances, no one was near them. Yet on two occasions players thought it the right thing to do by trying to move an injured player. Now we could go down the route that players feign injury and these three were time wasting. But in all three instances, no one was near them.
For me some players are just born thick.

It’s the sort of way Liverpool went after Kenny left and Souness came in , they won some cups and some decent league finishes but ultimately never near the standard the club had reached in the two decades before hand.

Given that Utd will only play 40 games this season, I was wondering when was the last time we played so few.

Google AI says the last time was 1914/15. That was only 3 years after the Titanic sank. And I wonder if WW1 played a part in so few games.

Absolutely dreadful
