Really, Tash, have you any clue how ridiculous that sounds coming from a supporter of a team which has literally bored its way to league titles?

Give me a gung ho, breathless game of football over a side which passes the opposition to death and the crowd to sleep any day of the week.
So a team that won six titles with Silvas, KDB, Haaland, world players of the year, broke more records than is possible, 100 points and goals is boring. Yup I stand by my comment. It was bang average.

This is the BBCS love in with Utd.

But read the top comment.
Quote,
Where does it rank? Nowhere in particular. It really wasn't much of a match. Sometimes a lot of goals isn't an indicator of a great match... Fair comment?

Then compare it to some of the top rated games shown in the bbc story.

Ignore stats. Ignore awards. Fans vote with their eyes. And there are many, here and elsewhere, who have found City’s possession based brand of football, where they pass teams into submission, unutterably boring.

I’ve said it times here. I’d rather see my team lose 1-0 whilst playing fluid, attacking football on the front foot, than watch them win 4-0 playing filth. The hardest thing for me as a United fan, during the last dozen years, hasn’t been the lack of competitiveness in the Premier League and Champion’s League. It’s been the turgid, boring filth they have produced for much of that time.

So, yes. I’ll take last night’s 4-4 draw all day long. Despite the disappointment I was entertained for almost every one of the 90 plus minutes. Which is what it’s all about, at the end of the day. Entertainment first and foremost. The odd trophy is merely an added bonus.

And, sorry to say this, but to hear it dismissed as League 2 football just comes across as breathtakingly arrogant.

In answer to your first question, yes, you were boring. Pep plays boring (for the neutral anyway), yet successful football

Don’t fret Billy, they’re just the comments of a bitter blue.

It was a great game that many enjoyed watching

Getting 4 points will be best if your 3 points comes against Arsenal, as it'll stop them getting 3 points in the process (classic 6 pointer).

Getting 4 points, with a win against Utd, draw against Chelsea and loss against Arsenal will probably feel a bit more deflating if you fancy a title challenge, albeit might feel a bit better if the aim is to finish Top5, as it takes points off the guys behind you.

We are not in a title challenge mate.

You're 3 points off top, so you are, whether you like it or not.

Edit: It's crazy they've only lost 3 games when you remember they all came in the first 5 fixtures didn't they??
Edit again: Just checked, two of them were early, the other a bit later, sandwiched by wins.

Good luck getting that 😳

Roman Abramovich should pay up £2.5bn from Chelsea sale or face court action, Starmer says

Not posted all of what Starmer has had to say coz I don’t the political side to overshadow the footballing side.

You very much are

With the way Arsenal and City are playing plus the dip Liverpool have had Villa are right there

Dream big. If Arsenal go through a dodgy period, and City don't go on a dominating run like some might expect, it is wide open. Just imagine Haaland and Rice get injured.

Id rather we won it too, but we simply will not. We are not in a title race, we cannot compete with those 2 teams over the 38 game season.

Remove the hype, top 4 again would be a great achievement for us. A title race is not on the agenda for us, one loss and its a 6 point gap.

What I want is silverware, I really want to get our hands on the Europa League, big ask but possible!
