Jill Scott is getting hammered on twitter by Liverpool fans, because she said she felt sorry for Trent getting booed.
Some really nasty comments.

That's awful. Never thought he was all that - maybe a reaction to being constantly told on here how amazing he was! To boo him though is just shocking. Two-faced spineless little sheep in a crowd.

Over hyped because he’s home grown. He’s never had the ability to defend, yes he can ping a ball but as a RB a basic job is to defend. Funny how now he’s moved abroad a lot of the fans who blew smoke yo his backside are now saying what others have said for years! Completely agree with your point though spineless sheep !

This is not a Liverpool thing though, it's a weird tribal football fan thing - one of things that really puts me off football as a whole actually. Acting like a player has killed someone just because he wants to move to big club and have a go at winning some trophies elsewhere. Seen it countless times over the years, one of them was Van Persie when he went to United to win the league and the dog's abuse he got from Arsenal fans despite playing for them for 8 years and not challenging for the title once.

The hypocrisy as well of course - I'm sure none of the Liverpool fans that boo Trent will have anything negative to say about Isak's move. (But again, the hypocrisy is with all of these types of fan, not just Liverpool.)

Sums it up nicely 🙏

Blimey a lot of overreacting towards some pantomime booing - players have been booed since the dawn of time , it’s a shame that there isn’t the same outrage towards tragedy chants which get passed off as “banter”

Trent is a big lad - he was smiling , it was harmless at the end of the day , there will always be some that overreact

Some say not to react to click bait social media rubbish yet go and react to it

Bet they’d have cheered him if he scored an OG 😂.

Booing is harmless, it happens. When that turns into personal chants, abuse etc then that’s when the line is crossed

I would say it's how he left, not that he left.
Just as being able to speak almost fluent Spanish the day he signed.

Would have been a loud cheer 😂

Trent showed the club is still in his heart the day before

The whole Spanish speaking created a narrative- he started learning in May and the day he signed he read from an auto cue that he practised

Trent was silent through the whole period and kept himself to himself - he provided some key moments for us last season and his legacy will be intact

It wasn’t that long ago a whole stadium cheered their own player being taken off and then booed him as he was walking off

There will always be those that overreact

Fair point, obviously things “matter more” for you 😉
only matters to Liverpool fans that a player did everything he could to help win a title and went on to a bigger club but because they didn’t get money he’s a traitor. There so many jokes I could make in there but I’d offend the scousers 🤣

"You'll never walk alone" is just a silly song that holds no special value. TAA has been walking alone since it was revealed he wanted to try a different challenge in Madrid. It matters not that he is a local Liverpool lad, who did excellent things for them (in attack anyway).

Jill Scott seems to be one of the nicest human beings out there. So it is clearly insecure imbeciles that are attacking her, that just have to find anyway to defend their antics, and they are not intelligent enough to do it in a non-aggressive way.

That is amazing spin.

You could also say he made over 700 appearances for a club that had been successful, but he was there for their famously lean years. As for winning the Champions League final, Liverpool were battered in the first half. Perhaps Liverpool won that final in spite of Carragher, not because of him?
We won the second half though 😂
