The championship playoffs, in particular, always produce unrivalled drama. Great to watch as a neutral and the most stressful 2 weeks as a fan.

It was a bit weird going into them this year, once we dropped out of the race for top 2 our form took a huge dive and I wasn’t sure we’d have anything to take into the play offs. Over the 3 games we probably played well for 45 minutes combined, but scored the crucial goals and have made it back after a long tough time away.

Good, if the right offer comes in.
Apparently he's had a fair number of disciplinary issues. That we just don't need.

I’ll wave him off for you tomorrow in the event he plays.

I’ve never felt less enthused about going to a game. Actually toying with the idea of not bothering I feel so disenchanted.

But I’ve never been one to shirk a challenge.

Like the old Northern Soul motto. KTF. Keep the Faith

All clubs get bad decisions but they don't all go on and on about it claiming some ridiculous conspiracy against them.

I have been a football fan for many years and I can truly say that if my club behaved in the same way I would be embarrassed.

Unfortunately too many fans revert to childish behaviour at times and TV replays, social media and now club owners encourage those actions.

I am old school. Accept referees decisions even when you don't like or agree with them. Be annoyed at the time but move on.

Ignore what the media say about your club, the only opinion that matters on that subject is your own.
But that is the point and this is why I have fallen out of love with football. I can accept a ref gets things wrong. But only last week in the FA cup final. How on earth Henderson was allowed to stay on the pitch is beyond me. That is not down to the ref but VAR. There is no way we should just be able to accept that.
And again the Forest fans have an opinion on officials but they are being called out for it.

Reports already emerging that Amorim has told Garnacho he is free to find a new club.

No surprise there.
Did he tell him at the BBQ with the other 200 they have laid off at the training ground. But waited until after the recent final so as not to cause upset before the game. 😳
Not having a dig at the fans but there is something classless about how Utd are run at the moment.
That said Ave been to the Northern imperial war museum and Lowry museum today and drove past the swamp aka Old Trafford. It really is a serious bit of a Meccano stadium.

Imagine failing out of love with football when things aren’t going your way

Don’t recall the same disappointment when the VAR was blind to the clear and obvious decisions that went in favour of Man City

It made a change to see something go against city for once which actually cost them

Well, the final day of the season is upon us!

Villa need a big win away at United and other things falling in our favour for UCL.

Good luck to everyone else in the hunt, I get the feeling things may change a lot over the day!

For those going to grounds - enjoy it! Nothing like the last day of the season!

UP THE VILLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

UP THE VILLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

My predictions

City beat Fulham -71 points
Villa beat United - 69 points
Newcastle beat Everton- 69 points

Chelsea vs Forest - draw finish with 67 and 66 points respectively

Forest and Chelsea miss out

I’ve been frantically refreshing and re-refreshing the ticket page of Forest all week in the hope that a random ticket gets returned.

No such luck!

Enjoy the day everyone. What will be, will be. 👍

I reckon someone wins that Forest v Chelsea game but not sure who!

Forests fans will be so up for it, but if Chelsea score early it’ll be hard to come back

I don’t normally engage in this sort of tit for tat, but “the swamp” will still be packed to the rafters this afternoon, despite the loss midweek, and despite a dreadful season. Such is the fan base. Not sure City would be selling out if the positions were reversed.

And, if you can see beyond the admittedly dated concourses at the ground and focus on actual football, Old Trafford remains an impressive place to watch a game.

And I’ll just add, if Rasmus Hojlund could finish in games like he is doing in the warm up, we’d be at least mid table. He’s deadly with only Onana in a bib to beat.
