Hmmm. I’m reassessing my suggestion that Forest will go down. On the basis that I can’t see Leeds or Leicester getting another point I think that Forest penalty just relegated them both with Southampton.

Can’t see anything other than a Forest win now.
I think one more point from their last three games will be enough for Forest. I can see West Ham booking their summer holidays from the league and focusing on the Europa Conference thingy and both Leeds and Leicester could get 3 points against them. Palace could well be on the beach by the last game of the season so a point there for Forest could see them safe.

Not quite sure they are (were?) cutting us open - I think we left it open for them. Quite exciting when Forest go forward - but we're woeful in defence.
We're great on the break, but as soon as it falters and we start passing it around midfield there's a 50/50 chance we're about to concede a goal.

Ward prowse dead ball delivery is pretty special.... I wonder where he'll end up if saints go down.
Given that he's been here since his schoolboy days I'm hoing he might give it until xmas to see where we are before deciding whther to stay or go. We're in a nice position (if that possible given where we are) that we won't need to sell players, but we all know what happens when they start getting offers from 'bigger' clubs...

He could end up as another Le Tissier

Ultimately, if he is happy there then why not? As football fans we often underestimate that factor. His crosses from dead ball situations last night was superb. Many a CF would be dreaming about a delivery like that into them.

Kane is an example of happy at Spurs ( for the moment) but ultimately at the end of your career and the trophy cabinet is empty does that sit right with said footballer. Only they can answer that.

Good lord, I think I aged about 15 years last night. What a stressful but incredible night. Part of me is relieved I couldn't end up going in the end haha.

Danilo is a special, special player. He's going to be vital these last 3 games.

Absolutely cacked my pants every time the ball was a Ward-Prowse's feet. Our set piece defending is absolute Sunday league. Doesn't help when you've only got one healthy RB and Joe Worrall has to step in there (although he did a fine job!). Also, as big a fan as I am of Navas (and he's our best option right now), he does seem to be having at least one howler a game which is costing us more often than not. It can't help having a revolving door of defenders due to injuries, so I do have some sympathy.

Taiwo looks back to his best after his long injury lay-off. Hopefully he terrorises Chelsea's CB's for 70 minutes again like he did in Jan. Had he stayed healthy, we'd be clear of relegation already.

VAR ruined the night by ruling Felipe's goal offside....Deserved it for the finish and the celebration alone

Feeling much better about our chances with the way we've started playing like a team.

3 points against Fat Frank would be better for the blood pressure.

It was absolute quality. The control, finish, flip, all of it 😄 . To be fair, most of your goals were quality last night, that is clearly not your problem.

I think you only need 1 more point, 2 at most, because of your goal difference.

An awful game for Forest and Southampton fans, a great one for the neutral.

It depends on your measurement of happiness 🤷‍♀️. Kane may feel comfortable at Spurs, family settled, wants to be a Spurs legend. Trophies are just bits of metal after all (deep moment there 😄) Same for Le Tiss, Ward Prowse and others of a similar ilk.

Yea, we've found a knack for (finally!) scoring good goals thanks to the likes of Danilo, Big T and MGW/Johnson coming good. Danilo's little flick and Awoniyi's turn-on-the-volley was absolutely sublime.

but we are still so leaky at the back - which is weird, because both Felipe and Niakhate play REALLY well overall - just lack of organisation/concentration/communication in short spells which gifts goals to the opposition. As I said, I don't think having about a million different back 4 combos this season due to injury has helped, but I beg we just go one game without conceding from a set piece and we might be fine :D

Not sure why you were so stressed. I mean, in the 90th minute the score was 5-2 to Forest. A few minutes later, it looked like the game might end up as 4-4 :)
