I've been using my dad's old Ray Cook M1-S putter for as long as I can remember - many years anyway, after finding it at the back of a cupboard. It's practically an antique.

After about six months playing with putters in every golf store I've finally acquired a new Odyssey putter. I reckoned maybe technology might have moved on in the 40 or so years since my old putter was made. It actually amazed me, though, the completely different feel of the new putter - incredibly better balanced.

Lets just hope it works as well on the course as in the American Golf showroom!

which one did you go for ?? i have the 2 ball, savage piece of kit ..

I got rid of my two ball. Felt the face was too soft but the alignment was fantastic. I had a blade version as I wanted the best of both worlds, the look of a more traditional putter and the help of the two ball alignment
