Major summer golf has arrived, very excited by this event but arent they the luckiest people around, we've had terrible cold wet weather for ages and the week this starts its going to be a heatwave!

Plus the PYB guys are there meeting Lee, getting lessons, living the dream...........:)
soooo jealous.........hope you have a great week PYB and GM guys  :whoo:

Yep, looking forward to it. I did enjoy the Volvo Match play yesterday though, shame Gmac did not win but he did not have a good round really.

Really looking forward to the BMW as I played at Wentworth in March so it will have some added interest for me...except I'm going to be away from Thursday so will miss it:rolleyes:.

I usually go to the pro am and there's some pretty good groups this year. I got tickets for Jules Holland for Wed pm and its a bit of a rush to get back and then to the gig, so I think I will play instead, then go to the concert

Me and 2 mates from our club are off on Wednesday for the practice day. Early start, leaving Cambridge at 6am... But, I think it will be worth it in the long run.

when do the GM PYB winners get their Pro lesson at Wentworth with the Ping staffers?

......on second thoughts don't tell me as I'm feeling happy this morning..............

following the tweets with 'live' pics of Tom Lewis doing a clinic with the fab 4 in glorious sunshine............

...now where do I keep that bottle of scotch........

heres the PYB fab 4....dreams are made of this

the pairings are now drawn, there are some cracking threesomes and I don't mean me, Cheryl Cole and Kylie:smirk:

Early start and long day for me - caddying.

Out with Quiros group in morning and F Molinari group in the afternoon.

Changes to the 18th (35yd level platform up to 15yds short of 1st ditch, right bunker removed and tree trimmed) will definitely make it more exciting/interesting as a drive to here leaves 190-ish to 225-ish to front - so many will be going for it in 2. 12th is a Par 5 this year (from 40yds or so back) so a birdie opportunity too.

Those of you that have been before, what's the traffic like around Wentworth for the ProAm? I am travelling from Swindon and giving myself 2 hours to get there. Do you have any useful tips for the day? The weather looks scorchio so shorts it is! I am going on my todd too, can't find anyone that is off work!

Cheers

Al

Should be fine. Come down A30 (after M4/J1;A329...A332) through Sunningdale and follow Yellow signs for car park (tickets?/BMW owner?). May have to go parst an entrance, turn right at lights (Christchurch Rd'Laithwaites/Piccolinis), turn right at next roundabout (Wellington Ave) before finding your entrance.

2 hours should be pretty good, though Reading exits of M4 can be dodgy!

another day in the office, gazing outside at the sunshine and watching twitter feed pics from Wentworth with everyone having a great time.............well theres one consolation.............

.....nah! there isn't :(
