The big forum golfing day/weekend

I think for now we should all be happy getting along to regional events, Id guess we all have access to digital cameras and can get a few pics togetgher for the forum, possibly even the mag if they are good enough. At least we can all feel that bit closer rather than knowing folk by their usernames, we can put names to faces.
I have two young daughters and a jealous wife so getting away on golf weekends are very far and few between. (read: none since I started back into golf!)

Im happy with regional meets also brendy and really looking forward to meeting yourself and the other guys next weekend, and hope that we can make it a regular thing and maybe more of the irish guys can make it next time but if there is to be a national meet i think it should be open to all. I too will have a hard time convincing the wife that a weekend away with strangers is an acceptable splurge of our hard earned cash but hey, i can live in hope.

No thats fair enough homerj. I guess for those of us serious enough to want to do it though, we could always arrange somethin. When i join my club this year, you'd be more than welcome to come up for the day (with anyone else) so we could put names to faces that way. And am sure the club house will do a nice salad and bottled water... so no excuses!

I haven't forgotten the middle lands meet.
It was down to GB72 (Rutland), minty18 (beds), tpred (beds), eaglehunter (cambs) amd me (cambs/beds), though there hasn't been any sign of minty of late.

I have been thinking mid-week but I know this will be difficult (!) for eagle' unless we go for the holidays.

Up in the North what about Willow Valley 4ball and buggies for £99. on the m62 by brighouse j25.
its a pay and play course maturing very nicely and good for accomidation near by along with the home of curry Bradford.

viscount arange whatever is easiest for you, it is inevitable most arranged dates will not be available for me so just sort the first meet out with the others. Then in a few months time when I can drive I would be more than happy to just take a day off whenever in order to come and play in a future forum day.
