Evening all,
Haven't been on in a while.. Lots of golf on the menu. Anyway... My knees are feeling the strain of carrying lately and as much as im reluctant to stop carrying I have to becauseit's now having an impact on my game....

So my question.. I have a hillbilly terrain 2 .... Perfectly fine save got a bad motor and a dodgy battery.... Ha to get it back to working order it's going to cost upwards of 160 euro with new parts... I would be able to but a decent 3 wheel push trolley for this..... What im now thinking of doing is stripping the motor gearbox and batter tray from it and using it as a.push trolley... A cliccgear weights about 19lbs and my terrain comes in at 23lbs with motor and gearbox...... Has anyone ever done this......

I have'nt but just by leaving the battery out I would have thought the weight would be the same. If you take the motor and gearbox off(if you can i.e. axle is one piece) then go for it.

My thinking is that it should roll with less resistance as the gearbox and motor will be missing..... Obviously there is a clutch in the wheel which should slow it down a little also if left on a hill and it decides to go backwards...... It's also got the advantage of having a slightly wider wheel than a normal push trolley.....
