Obviously not seen it myself but it was in the chat group that Billy Ho revealed they’d been asked by the producer to keep it tight after the last two totally one sided events.

If that’s the case, TGL has lost significant credibility as a sports and sports betting platform. Using a simulator opens the result up to being questionable - but if players are being asked to throw winning positions for the sake of entertainment, then it’s toast in the sporting sense.
Any proof / context, that this is what Horschel said? 🤔.
I don't really see it as an actual sporting event, more an entertainment prog with a sports element..

I believe people can bet on WWE wrestling. If that's the case, I wouldn't worry about the betting market :)

Atlanta were hell bent on getting a ‘shut out’ over their opponents. I.e the first team to never score a point, which they did.

If that’s calling it ‘keeping it close’ then I cannot help but chuckle.

I think you’ve read something that is massively twisted to further try and prove your agenda against this.

The match would have been a LOT closer had JT not sunk some very long and important putts.

Cantlay did not do his reputation for being a boring old fart any favours, but he didn't struggle with the shot clock. Bring it in on the Tour

Watching yesterday, while I understand why it's taking place in the States, I can't help but feel that if it were feasible, the UK would provide a much better venue. I feel like the crowds would be rowdier, you'd get more heckling, more inventive chants... the aim could be to make it the golf equivalent of the darts at the Ally Pally. It's not "real" golf as such, is it, we all know that. It's a new product and I think it's exactly the sort of thing a tanked up UK crowd could get behind.

Are you enjoying it so far ?

Didn't watch this week, I asked Jamie if he wanted to watch it with me and he said "na, it's boring"
A few minutes later he came in the kitchen mocking Billy Ho doing the dirty chicken dance thing, and that was the end of our interest.

Will probably watch next week to see if Rory can raise the cringe levels even further though.

So yeah, I am enjoying it........ 🤣

Have you nailed your colours to a team mast yet 👍

You’re really getting desperate now.

I feel the team stuff would just be a lot better say if it was countries to have at least a little something to link to, hard I know with the amount of Americans involved but say an American team, an Irish team, British team, Japan and Korea, Australia etc.

Even brands teams would be better than what it is
