Just found this on an old dick from a training exercise I did many years ago. Have a crack at it but don't cheat.

NASA Exercise: Survival on the Moon
Scenario:
You are a member of a space crew originally scheduled to rendezvous with a
mother ship on the lighted surface of the moon. However, due to mechanical
difficulties, your ship was forced to land at a spot some 200 miles from the
rendezvous point. During reentry and landing, much of the equipment aboard
was damaged and, since survival depends on reaching the mother ship, the
most critical items available must be chosen for the 200-mile trip. Below are
listed the 15 items left intact and undamaged after landing. Your task is to
rank order them in terms of their importance for your crew in allowing them
to reach the rendezvous point. Place the number 1 by the most important item,
the number 2 by the second most important, and so on through number 15 for
the least important.
Your Ranking
_______ Box of matches
_______ Food concentrate
_______ 50 feet of nylon rope
_______ Parachute silk
_______ Portable heating unit
_______ Two .45 caliber pistols
_______ One case of dehydrated milk
_______ Two 100 lb. tanks of oxygen
_______ Stellar map
_______ Self-inflating life raft
_______ Magnetic compass
_______ 20 liters of water
_______ Signal flares
_______ First aid kit, including injection needle
_______ Solar-powered FM receiver-transmitter

Random question, assuming they are on foot and have some sort of suits..
Actually these are guesses based on my twisted logic.
11_______ Box of matches
3_______ Food concentrate
8_______ 50 feet of nylon rope
7_______ Parachute silk
12_______ Portable heating unit
15_______ Two .45 caliber pistols
6_______ One case of dehydrated milk
1_______ Two 100 lb. tanks of oxygen
9_______ Stellar map
5_______ Self-inflating life raft
14_______ Magnetic compass
2_______ 20 liters of water
13_______ Signal flares
10_______ First aid kit, including injection needle
4_______ Solar-powered FM receiver-transmitter

I remember doing this on a Cadre course.

If I remember right, its

___15__ Box of matches
___4 __ Food concentrate
___6 __ 50 feet of nylon rope
___8___ Parachute silk
___13__ Portable heating unit
___11__ Two .45 caliber pistols
___12__ One case of dehydrated milk
___1 __ Two 100 lb. tanks of oxygen
___3 __ Stellar map
___9 __ Self-inflating life raft
___14__ Magnetic compass
___2 __ 20 liters of water
___10__ Signal flares
___7 __ First aid kit, including injection needle
___5 __ Solar-powered FM receiver-transmitter

For those not answered yet, think about, survival, movement, communication, pretty much in that order too.

My uneducated guess is

_15______ Box of matches
____5___ Food concentrate
___8____ 50 feet of nylon rope
__10_____ Parachute silk
___4____ Portable heating unit
__13_____ Two .45 caliber pistols
__12_____ One case of dehydrated milk
__1_____ Two 100 lb. tanks of oxygen
___3____ Stellar map
___7____ Self-inflating life raft
_14______ Magnetic compass
__2_____ 20 liters of water
_11______ Signal flares
___9____ First aid kit, including injection needle
___6____ Solar-powered FM receiver-transmitter

once you get below 10 nothing is much use, except possibly one 45, if you know you can't make it, don't think there's enough reaction mass for anything else

__15_____ Box of matches
_3______ Food concentrate
__7_____ 50 feet of nylon rope
__8_____ Parachute silk
__9_____ Portable heating unit
__12_____ Two .45 caliber pistols
__13_____ One case of dehydrated milk
_1______ Two 100 lb. tanks of oxygen
__4_____ Stellar map
__10_____ Self-inflating life raft
__11_____ Magnetic compass
__2_____ 20 liters of water
__6_____ Signal flares
__14_____ First aid kit, including injection needle
__5_____ Solar-powered FM receiver-transmitter

Not really enough info there to make a 100% list e.g. are they in spacesuits or in an enclosed space where they can use the water to rehydrate the concentrated food and eat it.

But based on my "O" level physics (probably now equivalent to at least "A" level :D) the FM radio would be useless until they were about within "line of sight" distance and the magnetic compass would not be of any use either.

The self inflating life raft would probably explode due to the virtual vacuum and there would be nowhere to float it anyway (apart from the "seas" :D).

My Ranking
___15____ Box of matches - no oxygen so wouldn't work
____4___ Food concentrate - needed for energy
____6___ 50 feet of nylon rope - to secure the rest of the kit?
____8___ Parachute silk - shelter
____10___ Portable heating unit - maybe higher on list if the crash site is on the dark side of the moon?
____12___ Two .45 caliber pistols - in case of moon madness??
____9___ One case of dehydrated milk - more sustenance
___1____ Two 100 lb. tanks of oxygen - not gonna last long without this stuff!
___3___ Stellar map - Need to find your way somehow
___13____ Self-inflating life raft - possible shelter?
____14___ Magnetic compass - no magnetic poles on moon!
___2___ 20 liters of water - water is essential for survival, especially when exerting effort (walking)
____11___ Signal flares - not sure they would work with no oxygen?
____7___ First aid kit, including injection needle - just don't use the needle!
____5___ Solar-powered FM receiver-transmitter - to communicate with the base
