Sounds stupid but ......every time I use a wooden tee with my driver it snaps.....and I mean every time... I'm using different length tees yet they still break on every tee shot....is it something to do with mh swing not hitting the ball cleanly? I have also managed to "chip" a piece out of the top 3 times in a round last week.....only happens with the driver!

What to do is, when you stick it in, wiggle it about a bit to make the hole bigger. Now you can go at it as hard as you want without fear of breaking anything.

Use metal tees.
Cracked clubfaces but no broken tees.

Failing that I just put the tip of
the tee into the ground so its only just in. Then I hit properly!! :D

Thanks for ALL the replies (I think ;))

I use the pride pts tees as I thought they would break less....thnkni need to wiggle more

Soak them in vinegar and then put them in the oven for a little bit, just like that the old wives tale for champion conkers??

Or just use another wooden tee you tightwad!!! :D

when they say that

just tell them its the rip n snap technique thats used on tour by 78% of all pros

guaranteed to hit it at least 10% further and 28.8% straighter

dont give them any more details except you found it on the web and you'll have them searching the web for it for ages

put the word technique and ad a few percentage statistics and alot of golfers will believe what ever blx they're told ;)

I like those stats but 28.8% straighter still means i miss the fairway :o

....

as for being tight its not the money ....its the playing partners saying "another f*cking one"
:o

Collect up the bits and sellotape them back together and offer it to your playing partners. If they don't take it, tell them to stop their moaning. :D

And, if one of them dares to grab an old snapped tee off the floor at a par 3, adminsiter a swift 7iron to the head. It shouldn't happen again. :D

If i see a tee on the floor on a par 3 i will use it instead of mine :)

Its just making the world a better place by recycling.

tbh i love everyone snapping their tees

as everyone uses the big headed beasts and have to tee it up 12 miles high where as my clubs are normal sized
