I'm really interested in these balls as they seem to offer good distance as well as decent control, at a relatively cheap price. Has anyone else used them? If so, what are your thoughts on them?

I've found a couple and used them - not too bad, although they're just as difficult to find in waist high rough as anything else..

Not a bad ball.....

I use last years Taylor Made Burner TP's, but found a '55' numbered RBZ ball in the rough at the weekend and put it into play. I liked it - very similar in feel to the Burner TP, but that's not unreasonable to expect!!

Tried these when they came out. Not for me. Somewhere between a Penta and a Burner but not quite sure which was the impression I got. Bouncy off the putter face and not much feel off the club face.
This was when I found the e6 (That sounds a bit evangelistic I realise), it addressed the RB shortcomings.

How does the burner tp feel, delb? Haven't tried it before

I like them. Bought a couple of dozen last year to use through the summer and was going to try the Titleist Velocity this year until I saw the Burner TP's on offer at AG for £14.99 a dozen, so bought three boxes of them instead! Being an 18 handicap, my swing is not exactly a repeatable thing of beauty, but the TP's seem to suit my game and I like the feel of them around the green and with the putter too.

I liked the Burner TP as well for the pricepoint it was aimed at. The biggest downside to them was how quickly the wedges shredded them.
Again where the e6 scores is that they don't cut up as badly and are straighter off the tee.
The TP isn't a bad ball though.

I have been using these while the greens have been wet as I have been backing the penta up off the greens on occasions so wanted sommit firmer and less spinny. I like them, think they will become my winter ball this year.

I got a three pack given to me to try by a friend however after using one I gave the other two back.

I feel that the Srixon AD333, Soft Feels and Wilson DX3's offer far better value and performance within in the same price range and to be honest I would say the the Pinnacle Precision despite the price difference is a better ball.
