I use to love my forged Mizuno 3 iron and couldnt get on with the hybrid, was way to high and use to hook badly. When a 3 iron is flushed it is arousing...perhaps when combined with all the talk of thongs

I needed to find the right hybrid and the right shaft, went to a 85 gram stiff shaft and less of an offset on the head and the results are brilliant. Great ball flight, distance and dispersion. Basically I know I am going to make some bad swings in a round and I prefer clubs that wont punish me as much when I dont flush them. Sure, when I swing well i could use a bladed mizuno, but I still havent played a round without any bad swings.

Each to their own though, confidence in whatever club you are going to hit is the biggest thing

I own a 3,4,5,6 Hybrid...

Since I got my RSi1's I have tried to hit 5 iron but I am still using 3,4,5 hybrid...

My 6 iron work is OK and I am trying to build up iron confidence....

The 4 and 5 Jetspeed hybrids are great and I cant see me ever putting 5 or 4 iron back in the bag...
