hi every one my silly wife brought me a taylormade r11 for my birthday but she brought me 10.5deg reg shaft and wanted 9deg stiff shaft i no every is going to say why not take it back to exhange it but she brought it on the 4th and as lost the reicept so do any 1 on here no wot i can do she payed cash for so no way of proving i brought from american golf so any want a swap for a 9deg stiff got to be brand new cus mine is still in plastic cover so any info wud be helpfull thanks

why do u want to know that for just beening carefull dont want anyone to copy my serial number if that can be done,

Prob so you can check the serial number with TM to ensure it is authentic.

American Golf should be able to find the transaction on their system, so don't give up. You may also have evidence on a credit card statement of the purchase, and that should be enough.

if she knows the date she purcahsed it the shop should have the CCTV fottage from that day, if you have taken it out of the wrapped and used it they will not change it

Even if she paid cash they will still have the record of the transaction on their system.

All she has would have to do is tell them the date and roughly what time she purchased it and they would be able to check the transactions for that day and if it matches up i really can't see why they won't exchange it as there is enough proof to say it was bought from them.

I would think people are or would be worried about swapping with you as you have very few posts on the forum and the driver may be a copy. The other thing is, I dont think anyone will have the same driver, brand new unhit that is not right for them.

thanks for all the help lads, just on the phone to taylormade they said just go to my nearest taylormade stockist and tell them about wahts happen and that ive condacted taylormade and they said they exchange it

just talking to the wife about the receipt i siad surely u can remeber where is and she said oh it was not that big golf shop were i brought it was birmingham golf centre, so i said to her u said u got it from american golf and she said there all the same golf shops are golf shops, ,

women cant live with them cant live without them lol, im very pleased that i can go and swap it in 3 to 4 weeks time but i want it now, the bloke on the phone said i cant have a refund but only swap it so im debbaiting what to do sell it on ebay or try to swap in a pro shop, i can not wait that long got a comp on th26th of this month so i want a driver before then i been playing 3 wood for ages now

Why don't you use the R9 driver in your signature for the next few weeks ? You just seem to be desperate to sell the R11, and on ebay you would have to pay charges, and unlikely to get full value in the first place.
