Question is who will go down?

Middlesborough
Newcastle
Hull
Sunderland

... I hope the toon stay up. In my ideal world Hull and sundeland would be relegated but I think Middlesborough nd Hull will take the plunge so to speak lol

It will make my year if Newcastle go down, I really dont like them for the following reasons;

1) They think they are a huge club. No they arent, 1 club in a big town and an honours list which has a major "highlight" of winning a fairs cup 50 years ago.

2) The deluded fans. Getting 50,000 in doesnt make you a big club and doesnt make you entitled to win stuff.

3) Mike Ashley, shouldnt be in football and I will love seeing him fall on his face.

They'll all lose and things will stay as they are. Might actually do Newcastle a favour and kick them up the backside. As Jon says, they think they're big but never win anything. Big clubs win things.

Boro are doomed. Sunderland are as safe as you can be without having the guarantee.

Hull will get a point at the most, butprobably nothing.

Which means it's down to Newcastle. If they get anything, they'll probably stay up. And if Villa play to their best, Newcastle aren't good enough.

So it's down to how important 5th spot is to Villa, I think.

I'd prefer Hull to stay up, rather than Newcastle. Purely because, if Newcastle stay up they'll spend fortunes on next season, whereas Hull won't. Which should make them easier to beat, before getting relegated next season themselves.

Must admit I am disappointed at Hulls demise, though they have had a couple of very unlucky rounds, I fancied them good enough to stay up. As for Newcastle, I think they deserve to go down, their performances have been poor even with experience and quality players and huge fan base, they dont deserve to stay this time. I think draws will determine the end, maybe wrong but I feel its very likely.

I wanted Hull to stay up all season until I saw them play LFC. From then on, I've been hoping to see them drop....
Pity about Newcastle, maybe they will get in the real world and stop all the silliness. They DO need to sort it out.

Hull 0 - Man Utd 4ths 2
Villa 2 - Toon 0
Sunderland 0 - Chelsea 1
WHU 1 - Boro 1

I don't see any chance for Newcastle but Villa may not go all out as Europa League qualification is safe so I guess its just about the 5th v 6th prize money and personal pride.

Hull won't get anything as I think the next crop of youngsters Ferguson is assembling will use a rare premier league start to impress the boss.

Chelsea will struggle to break Sunderland down who will be determined to be resilient at the back as a point will do and so they won't play with any great attacking purpose. However I think Drogba and Anelka will have enough to open them up once.

West Ham have had got end of season blues with nothing to play for but will want to give their fans a resounding send off. However Boro are at last chance saloon so their cavalier attitude may get them a draw.

Now watch as everyone of those goes up the swannie and proves I can't pick my nose let alone the results.

I can see Newcastle getting a result at Villa but cannot see Middlesborough staying up. Think Hull may get a draw against Man U fourth team and I can see Sunderland being the other team to drop.
