Strange old game

As per the title , since getting the new clubs i reckon ive lost yardage , roughly a full club on each shot ..

Went out today despite having sore back & shoulder so i decided to club up and strike the ball easy so as not to aggravate the injuries ..

Creamed the ruddy thing as you'd probably expect .

What i didnt expect tho was my distances resembled my old distances , having clubbed up for the first few holes i flew the greens , so i went back to my old yardages and was creaming the ball ..

Despite 2 bad drives and a a good few bad putts i managed 35 pts , ok its .1 but im one happy camper ,

i think (famous last words) me and the new clubs have bonded at last ,7 month relationship will do ha

The secret there is clubbing up and hitting the ball easier - gives you a nice smooth crisper striker which will in turn give you a purer shot.

Lots of fascination with hitting the ball hard and long when smooth shots always for me give better results.

I would rather go from an 8iron hard to hitting a smoother purer 7iron - always leave the ego in the car

Nah mate they are the 714 AP2's ,, got fitted for them courtesy of GM , they are totaly different than my old mizzy MP32's , longer , stiff shafts , 2* flatter , thicker grips ..

just a shock my old distances seemed to come back today .. nice shock tho
