Strange Objects You've Seen at the Side of the Road

Driving home from golf today and in the middle of a roundabout I saw one half of a cars CV joint. It was complete with the rubber gaiter and shaft. I like to think that I would notice this happening if I was driving and it happened to me.

Heading to West Wales along the M4 from Bristol there are signs for somewhere called Gwasanaethau that I can't find on the map. Where is this place? It must be a small but important place because the signs for it are all along the motorway - starting just the other side of the bridge...Is it where there be dragons so it is not on maps being somewhere too dangerous to venture?

Many moons ago arrived home in the early hours to see a pair of suitcases on the pavement outside my then neighbours... Just as I was puzzling what to do I heard a squeal of tyres announcing the arrival of a mini-cab with my neighbours inside... They'd arrived at Heathrow only to realise no one had put the cases in the boot... Red faces all round!
