Stormageddon

It won't be as bad as the weather forecast is having you imagine it might be - still may be pretty c**p unfortunately. Not that windy at the moment down here - but torrential rain and flooded roads aplenty.

shock horror, a 'bit windy' and 'quite wet' at the end of October...........someone call the Guinness book of records:rofl:

Laid in bed and it is blowing a proper gale on the south coast now. Rain is lashing the Windows. Bin day tomorrow so there will be rubbish everywhere. At least the seagulls will be happy.

******STORM UPDATE******

It's blowing hells delight down here now.
The forecast was right, we now have a steady wind of around 30mph with gusts now hitting around 60mph.
the rain has nearly stopped but that might just be because it can't get to the ground through the wind.

Well so far so good, only things gone are the for sale sign, which doesn't matter as we have sold and moving in 10 days, & as yet still can't find 5 of my fence panels and our small tree, 15 ft tall, is now 2 ft tall, joys or living in one of the highest towns in Britain.

Just gone out to put something in the car and found a branch down off one of the trees in the road. Was told off by the War Office for booking my car into the airport car park rather than hers when I did it, glad I did now, don't fancy being blown around in a Honda Jazz this morning. Hope everyone gets through it okay.

Run for your life!
