After lots of practice I am now attacking with my 52deg wedge from 110 yards in. Generally its one bounce and stop for the ball. Somtimes I want to get roll on the green, how do I do this while getting the distance I now 'feel'???

Hit a three quarter pitching wedge
110 yards with a 52 degree wedge is a full hard shot, thats how you generate the stop and spin, if you want to have it land and release, you have to hit a softer shot with a bigger club, generating less backspin, more release.

I would take less club and swing easier. Sounds like you are trying to force it. I'm not sure of your yardage (but not opening that particular can of worms) but I would be dropping down and looking at nothing more than a 10 o'clock swing. It'll carry further and should bounce and release better
Why is that? The game is all about control. If you're spinning back from the flag try hitting it PAST the pin by a few feet., now I have it I realise its a bit of a hinderance.

If you want to dull the spin then do what RGDave recommends... move the ball towards the middle of your stance a touch, it should land soft without much spin.
