Do you honestly think that it was the Steve Williams show and Tiger was just there to hit the shots?
He is famous for shouting at kids, throwing cameras into lakes and calling other players derogatory name. I will concede he is a good caddie.

Yes he was the driving force, the proof is out there. Or is it Tigers new coach who is wrong, team work, Steve told him what to do, others will just tell him what he wants to hear.

That is quite possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. I know there are a lot of people who don't like Tiger but to suggest Williams was the driving force and the reason Tiger was so good is just absurd

BUT CRIKEY.. tiger won at juniour , collage , amatuer etc , his mam n dad were the driving force , who or what was Steve Williams before Tiger , i have no doubt he was a big help to Tiger along the way but i could get Steve to caddy for me still be lucky to win anything , if he caddied for you would you make the pro ranks ? With all due respect, from all accounts I read, Williams was more a minder than a conventional caddy, in that he never read putts, and was more known for keeping press and fans away then his club selections.

Let me think about that. Furyk wins $11m last season - not too shabby and fair to say probably entitled to a bit of a dip in form. Have to say you need to take the Scott coloured specs off. Yes he is having a renaissance but contention in every event - not so sure about that. Have to disagree about Woods big time. Williams might have given him some advice during the round and definitely got the yardages spot on but Woods in his prime played to a different level and would have won with other bagmen. Williams is not the be all and end all and definitely not the great guru you make him out to be
