I noticed while watching the golf over the weekend that a lot of players were stepping in with the back foot (right) I wondered why they were doing it, not just one player a couple did it numerous times just wondered why they did it

Not sure whar you mean, but if u r on about pre swing it could be an eye dominance thi.g when trying to line up.
Rhand gfer right eye dominance it can help to face the target with both eyes when aligning, left eye dominant side on is ok.

Sorry right leg stepping in 😀 when they hit the ball they take a step, like there right leg leaves the ground and follows through in a stepping motion

I think it was due to the uneven lies they were facing. I seen someone ask the same question on another forum. Just a way to make sure they transferred the weight correct.
