I have put winter (hedgehog) wheels on my trolley, put my summer golf clothes and shoes away, bought a pair of thicker trousers and new base layer.
I have booked a playin lesson for next week so the pro can have a look at my game and give me things to work on, while I have no comps to play during the next few months.

Best of luck with the winter plan, the pitching challenge looks interesting

Cheers for that. This was the first effort https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhpEkua1SVs and you can see a massive difference between this and the one I highlighted last night. Being able to do it on the course adds an element of reality that I like. In winter I'm hoping to nip on the course about 2.30-3.00 and just walk to distance I'm working on. Think I should get it done before dark and have the course to myself. Also going to do a similar chipping skills challenge I took from Peter Finch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_CSGeGUr4M

That sounds like a great place to start, your coach can see first hand how you are playing and base your plan on that
