Some photos from our recent trip:

Frost almost ruined the trip as The Old was closed - got on later though - phew!

Our fourball and four caddies - perfect playing partners

Silence - lady on the Road Hole tee! Became more and more conscious of 7 spectators on every tee shot!

Looks great!

Love St Andrews and that beautiful firm tight lie turf

P.S you have excellent posture on that road hole pic, where did you end up?

Great pictures Amanda. That long par 3 on the New, 9th hole from memory, I thought was a par 4, and hit my driver over the 10th tee. Certainly didn't want to go left.

Brings back lots of memories.

Thanks  Went exactly where my caddy told me which was to aim over the path to the left of the hotel. Nice approach to the green but wow was that tricky. Looked a long putt but relatively flat but Rob told me it was at least a 18" outside the right...a less than convincing putt which "my grandma could hit further" and just lipped out so a 3 putt.

In the 'wrong' wind, it's one of the scariest tee shots I know.

Disappointing that your line isn't over the shed on 17. Not a huge amount wrong with 3-putting it. It's taking 4 to get out of the bunker - last backwards - then going back into it that can result in an 'excellent 11'! :o Chipped in - off the rubber path - next time though. :D

Looks like you had a superb time and great courses. Get up in the summer next time in shorts and sun! Or maybe full waterproofs lol.
