Im looking to replace my current 3wood as im surre shaft
technology has improved and i want a new club!

Im after a stiff flex 3 or maybe a 4 wood, been looking at the new NIKE SQ Sumo 2 as ive heard good feedback on these but im wondering whether to go square or not. Have any of you guys gone Square recently if yes any benefits? or if you have stayed away from square why??
Many thanks

I tried a couple of different 3 Woods and Drivers at the request of the Pro at my local range. I tried the Square Nike amongst a bunch of traditional shaped clubs and although I felt it compared for distance and accuracy (as far as my game is concerned) I just didn't like the look of it and that was playing on my mind the whole time I was hitting it.

Dunno.....I tried an FT-i (square) against my FT-3 (trad)....these were drivers admittedly....I didn't enjoy the square and it didn't go any better.....so much for spending another £150.

In fairways, I guess what I'd look for is how confident you feel about launching it well, less about direction.....bigger woods freak me out off a tight fairway lie.
