If you play your monthly medal and shoot 5 better than your h/cap but forget to sign your card I'd assume you are DQ'd? Do you still get the h/cap cut or do you go UP by .1?

Yep, I had that this year. Shot a nett 66 but took a drop from what I thought was GUR and was DQ'd the handicap still got cut. The only problem I had was my score should have been corrected for playing from the wrong place (2 shot penalty) before the handicap adjustment.

This happened recently in a comp at my club. The guy would have won but was DQ'd for no signature on the card, he still got cut. :D

If, the comp is a non qualifier, then there is obviously no handicap adjustment either way (up or down).

If you walk in after 16 in a medal you'll still go up 0.1.

I would have thought if you were 6 better than hc and walk in with 2 to play, you'll get nett doubles for the last 2 holes and still get cut.

If you took 10's on both the last 2 holes that would happen anyway, I don't see why not finishing would make any difference to that.

Or am I wrong?
