After reading the thread by Jezz regards using a 4 year old clubs it got me thinking:

When I was off of 7, stroke index 8 at our place was strokes 1 for the women. Therefore I would have been off of scratch if I was a lady (if you know me you would know that it wouldnt be a pretty one!). Not only that but their par is 2 more so I would actually have been +2. Not only that but as its alot shorter, you could say another couple should be taken off!

So, could a 7 handicapper go around a course in 9 less (11 less to par) off of the ladies? If not, how many.

I dont know exactly how long the ladies course is. I think the average reduction is around 30 yards and the mens tees are 6400, making it about 5800, but what would you expect to reduce your score by at your place from the ladies tees?

Best wishes

Some of our ladies tees are miles in front of even the whites and it makes it a different hole. Our 19th for example is 371 off the ehites and so is a driver and 6-9 iron. Off the reds you could get home with ease with two 8 irons. Its SI 11 too so not unusual to have to give a lady a shot there as well
