Socks

I am going to buy some new golfing socks and cant choose which pair to buy! Should I buy a nice pair of Ping socks or should I go for Taylor Made sock's? I'd be worried incase me little toe wasnt warm enough in the TM socks. I know Pind socks are fantastic. Does anyone know the difference? I'd hate for me little toes to get cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You dont need golf branded socks as no one can see them - why not go to a hiking shop, you'll get warm socks there.

As pingpal says a hiking shop would be ideal.

I buy my winter golf socks from the local army surpluss shop for £2 a pair and they are warm, comfortable and don't make my feet sweat too much either hence keeping h.i.d happy!

I swear by the '1000 mile golf socks' they are double laired so you don't get blisters and they last ...well.... 1000 miles.

Asda also do a lined sock. At 2 pairs for £5 they are also great value. Just remind the wife to use lots of Lenor when she washes them

I am asking myself if the PAIR are 1000 mile socks is that 1000 miles with the left foot and 1000 with the right foot in which case would make them the 2000 mile socks.
