His actions were shamelessly swept under the carpet by pretty much everyone 'in charge'.

I'm another that missed the thread and agree with D4S that there are 2 sides to every storey.

But whatever it was that led to subsequent infractions and departures wouldn't now just be a good time move on instead of getting caught up in any bitterness and taking of sides. End of the day this is a golf forum and we're all adults, its not the playground and we should all be man or woman enough to allow the past to remain in the past.

I said my piece when Craw chucked it and I stand by the lot, he's done more for bringing golfers in Scotland together for a knock than anyone and should be applauded and not slaughtered.

As for his spat with Gibbo, best left in the past, there are plenty who know the story behind it.
