Im siding with Bob here on some views...
Iv been to the range 3 times this week with the sole purpose of trying to make a decision on whether or not to change to wilson staff FG Tours...
I brought 2 of those in Reg and Stiff shafts both 6 irons...
I brought my Ping I10's PW 6 Iron and 4 Iron
and i brought my brothers Ping G15's in PW 6 AND 4 as well...
Now if we are to believe all the hype manufacturers are feeding us then right be right i should have been hitting the G15's the furthest...
Was I?....Nope......
If anything it was the opposite...
I mean no disrespect to anyone using these but i could not hit them out of my way...
Now im supposed to fit the criteria....Steep swing slight left to right ball flight..Mid handicapper....Looking for more consistency in my iron game....
Wilson's were longer and straighter....
i10's were longer and straighter....
Ok you can argue that that the G15 had regular shafts but aren't they supposed to give us more distance.......
The "weak" 31 deg lofted 6 iron wilson was flying further than the strong 29 degree lofted G15?
What gives?
Conned....I think so....
That's why we are all having to get extra wedges to close gaps at the short end.
