More snow here again today, thankfully its gone off now but we're white everywhere!

Hope it disappears as quickly as it came, starting to hate the bloomin stuff!

Not as bad as last year tbh. We had lots of snow mould last year not seen any this year. Greens are not great at Nairn but the grass doesn't start growing up here till end of April beg May. But by the start of June they will be good.

The only trouble at the moment is at Tain a lot of the broom is dying off and huge swathes of it have had to be cut back and I mean miles off the stuff. Its a real shame as this is what made the course so challenging off the tee.

Aye Vig it was fair bad down your way on Saturday. We got dumped at Newcastle station as the train were off due to some pikeys nicking copper signal cable so we jumped in a minibus all the way down to dirty Leeds for the game and from just short of Scotch Corner down it was a white out but in Leeds itself it was wet slushy snow.....bloody cold as well!!

Just bloody rain here in the Shires but the course is taking a battering in its own way as there is nowhere for the water to really go and so fairways are preety sodden and wet now. We could do with a dry spell and a gusty old wind to dry it out a bit

We were lucky today. Forecast was for rain moving through but all we had was low cloud and it was cold. Nothing that 2 hats could not sort out.
In a couple of places the course was wet, after overnight rain but we played, which was the main thing.

Had sleet on saturday morning then some more while i was out playing today, it was abit grim.

The metcheck website reckons it's going to be 10-12* and sunny on thursday/friday when i'm off work again so i'm looking forward to that.

Course closed today due to snow!

Gives me more free time to watch wee Woosie swinging the club like poetry in motion!

(or maybe a little half hour with the V-Easy on the carpet!)

poor old craw, look on it that atleast they have closed to preserve the course, we played on a very wet course saturday. We was teh first group out and after we had lunch after our round the people coming in look like they had been offroading, not golfing. the course was a mess.
