When I went to bed last night there was not a drop of snow on the ground so set a nice early alarm to hit the course first thing this morning. Woke up to a fresh blanket of snow on the ground. Looks like another week without golf and for a Saturday there is sod all sport on telly.

Oh well, back to the xbox and tiger woods 10.

We(the Isle of Man) have hardly had any snow so we have been lucky as most courses have been open all the time. I am hopeing to get out for a bit tomorrow morning.

I hope your course thaws soon as it all gets a bit
repetetive at the range all the time

Snowing really heavy here at the moment. Two of three roads out of the village are blocked/impassable ! No Golf for the forseeable future here !

i was the same got up looked out there it was a covering off snow no golf

and not looking good for tomorrow as well so will have to get to the range again

Apparently, it's going to be above freezing and some sunny intervals. However, if the greens are frozen, I'll not be playing. GRIM.

We're getting a right pasting over here.
Snowed yesterday, loads fell this morning. Started again around an hour ago and coming down like billy-o.
Car tucked up, heating on, I'm going nowhere tonight. Course been closed for over a week now, I'm starting to get a bit depressed with the weather now!

Went out for a walk this afternoon, probably a good 10" cover where we were just outside Embra :D

Glencorse was looking like the Cresta Run rather than a golf course.

Played today with HTL at Ascot. The course was ok but on temps as the main greens were frozen. A number of fairways had frozen puddles on which doesn't bode well for the thaw but at least it was a chance to get out and swinging. Didn't play great and chipping was atrocious (need a local rule allowing v-easy's on the course).

I finished work for Christmas on 22/12 and it started to snow on the evening of that day and I havent seen grass since, so I would imagine my course will be shut for another week or so........arrrggghhh!!!!

Well we have had it all here in the last few weeks/days auld years night we had snow, freezing fog, ice oh and some thunder and lightening :D :D

No go for 2/3 weeks = serious withdrawals  :(

We had alight dusting last night but it had gone by Mid-morning. Biggest problem I can forsee this week is the temperature barely getting above freezing. We're going to have Permafrost by Friday at this rate.

Just snowed like crazy up here.
For the first time ever over the last 3 days I've prayed for rain!!! (to clear the crusty snow that lay about and closed my course)
Bah it never rains when you want it to :-(

Heavy frost this morning and temperatures not expected to get above 1 or 2 degrees today.
Off to Reading to pick the boys up from their Grandparents, heater full blast in the car and an afternoon/evening of telly for me.
Sod the golf
