I'm currently watching The Andrew Marr show. Yes I know "get me, all political" but whilst watching the utterly gorgeous Susanna Reid I was wondering if she knows anything about Golf? She would be made very welcome as a presenter on Sky by me. If she can recognise a driver from a putter that is good enough. ;)

she does nothing for me!!!! what sky needs is a sexy ex tour player who KNOWS what they are talking about and has an insider view,NOT the bloke dressed as a woman they have now who is like a piece of wood or the past curtis cup woman,i'm not going to be sexist but to boost viewing figures i think it needs to be more sexy to appeal to men not p.c i know but as the advertising men say "sex sells".

Why would golf coverage need a more sexy presenter to appeal to us men? Surely it's the golf that is primarily attracting us to view. Yes, an attractive woman member of the studio team is a bonus but it isn't why I watch.

With regards to Sarah, I would regard her neither as a drag act nor unattractive, if every one of your conquests has been more attractive then I doff my cap to you sir, you must be some man :D

I don't watch BBC Breakfast time because Susanna Reid is on it, likewise I don@t watch the golf of Sky GO because of Sarah Stirk.

I would watch regardless of the presenter as I'm after the content, the fact that both ladies are very attractive is a bonus, but not the reason I switch on

Why does it matter if the presenter is a bit of eye candy or not. Surely better to have someone with a good knowledge of the game and its intricacies than some bit of totty that just knows what a driver from a putter is or the difference between a tee box and green.

Coverage would soon become dull if the presenter couldn't actually discuss what was going on and have a valid opinion about it, give me a knowledgeable ex player male or female over some piece of eye candy any day. Personally couldn't careless if the presenter looked like Mel Reid or Peter Reid as long as they know their stuff.

so in your opinion the current presenter is a font of knowledge on the women's game and has an easy presenting style?,what is wrong like I stated in having an attractive presenter who was an ex player who knows what they are talking about

I didn't say the current one was in my opinion! That's your assumption of what I said! I said I don't care what they look like as long as they're knowledgeable. The current ones need a shake up IMO!

Maybe not Reid, but the news reader on the show, Naga Munchetty, is quite a golf addict!

Utterly pathetic that appearance is a factor in this; golfing knowledge and presenting skills should be all that matter.

And why is it only women who are subjected to this BS? Time to get rid of those mingers Denis Pugh and Mark Roe and get some eye candy in. That Jamie Rednapp can play golf a bit why not bring him in for us to look at?

Have you heard Gary Lineker presenting??????

Enough said. Him and Hanson should stick to football studios and get to france off of any BBC golf.

Second paragraph rather contradictary/hypocritical compared to the first?

And some of the drooling guys might expect you to be of the same (well similar) mind as them!:D

I agree about Denis Pugh though!

Well done FD you get it, who wants to see a has been pro who didn't win anything but thinks it's ok to pull the top players games apart when all we really need is a cracking pair of pins and a nice frame in something two sizes too small with big heels to read the autocue until the American ads have finished.
