When I was a kid we use to laugh at Skodas,I'd have no problem driving one now tho quality cars & the stigma as definitely gone.
I don't quite get how that is a bad thing. Better packaging, more interior space, simpler for the average person to control when/if it all goes wrong and 99.5% of drivers will have absolutely no idea what the difference is. For yomping up and down the motorway I can't see any advantage of one over the other.
As Skoda and Audi are from the same group the technology from Audi gets passed on through Skoda cars. The trim tends to be a little more basic but I think you will be happy with them.
No argument in it VW are also overpriced and well under equipped. I drive a 62 plate Polo and it has nothing in it worth a toss, I was lucky to get remote central locking, had to pay extra for that too. Get a Skoda.Arguably better made than there VW equivilant nowadays
The equivalent to a VRS estate.... you mean an passat R36 estate. The VW is head and shoulders above the skoda.... but costs alot more.Arguably better made than there VW equivilant nowadays
