Silvermere - anyone played recently

The theory was tested on Silvermere lake using a catapult but the actual bomb testing was Chesil Beach

i think somebody needs to check their history.

The theory was tested on Silvermere lake using a catapult but the actual bomb testing was Chesil Beach

Think someone needs to check what they post; that mere was never large enough to test a bomb on. He started testing in his back garden using tanks, also used the Road Research Laboratory at Harmondsworth and then as LP says used the catapult at Silvermere to test the theory, but the bombs were tested off Chesil Beach.
