Had a look on the FJ DNA website, looks like they are visiting my club this weekend for a fitting. May stop by to see how it goes. Will buy if they go sub £100 or free.. Else Lunars coming home..

Thing I would say about the DNA's are to try them on and if poss, attend a FJ fitting.

I was at St. Ives years ago and was fitted for shoes, 11 Narrow. Ive had loads of shoes over the years, 3/4 pairs of ICONs all 11n and they were perfect. Ordered some DNA's from the US when they hit the shops, 12n (11n UK) and they killed my feet. they were tight across the top and sides. ordered a pair of 12m (again from the US) which are now OK, but I have to have the laces pulled up really tight and they feel a little lose.

They are really comfortable, just not a clue what is going on with the sizing. Ive never had any problems buying shoes from the US before.

My DNA's have given me a lots of blisters - the sizing appears all wrong

I normally a 9 1/2 in most shoes with a wide fit - sometimes a 10

But the FJ DNA's was a clear size smaller in a wide but even then they don't feel "tight"

Looks wise they are great and underfoot they are very comfy but toes they are awful at the moment

Went for a Footjoy fitting last week, and was told the DNA's run a 1/2 (half) size smaller than all their [Footjoy] other shoes. I was fitted 9.5 wide for all FJ shoes, but 9 Wide for DNA's. Only problem I have now is that not many places stock wide fit shoes, online or walk in.

I think the voucher was for foremost golf, or was that last month??

white/white is actually white and grey. I've no idea why it's not labelled as that.

The UK Market for DN's will have 6 colour options White/Grey, White/Red, Tan/Orange, Black/Black, White/Blue and White/White, according to the fitter the white/white option is a UK option only, where as in the USA, the white/Green option is only available over there.

I thnk it is the system they use. They use the PINS system, so after some twisting, the spikes fall out! I must've replaced 4 or 5 since having them. My Adizeros have the same issue though...so it's just just a DNA issue!

I've have a pair of Puma Cell Fusion 3 Pro that use the PINS system, in the winter when it was wet with leaves all around, I swapped the soft spikes for metal spikes and I kept losing the same spike on each foot, just walking from the car to the first tee and said spikes would be missing. That written, I've now gone back to the original soft spikes and I've not lost one.

Also the Puma are by far and away the most comfortable shoes I have owned, I'm just looking for something lighter to wear for the summer.

I've discovered that the white/white is white at the back of the heel whereas white/grey is grey and is only on
the BOA version. Other than that they're identical

What are these like with regards to waterproofing? Im after a new pair and these/dryjoys are at the top of my list.

Was looking to get a pair from HID for my birthday. Not so sure now after reading some comments on here. They look great but if sizing/spikes etc are going to be issues I might pass

According to the assistant pro ad shop worker who knows a lot about golf in the pro shop, they have updated the PINS system that is used for the spikes, so is a lot better now. Just wish I could get the new system on my 'prototype' pair!

I have had my DNA's for about two months now (posted a review in the review section). With regards sizing I am a ten got the ten regular and perfect fit.

comfort- amazing the first golf shoe that has not given me blister, they really are like slippers
spikes - lost a couple over the first two months, they grip really well and don't leave marks on the greens.
waterproof- not bad, same really as any golf shoe, our rough is deep/deep ATM and your feet do get wet from the laces when entering the rough, however normal fairway etched they are pretty waterproof.

Homer dont go on my sizing thingi.. i think i was wearing the wrong shoe all this time. Best thing to do is go and get your feet measured. If it is normal width then it should be like-for-like as your existing. However if you wide (or Extra wide like mine) then FJ does W/EW which would be a shorter size.

I learnt that if I want a 'normal' size shoe, I need to get an FJ 9
I learnt that if I want a 'W/EW' size shoe, I need to get an FJ 7.5 or 8!!!
