Should golf be more judgemental?

Now this is a very weird coincidence.
I bought a full set of Sam Snead Blue Ridge and a set of Ben Sayers Mentor irons within two days of each other.
The Mentors are late 80s early 90s, less than 40 years old, and I sold them 2 years later for a tidy profit. Many consider them to be a very fine classic club.

I love a good tangent when the thread is bonkers anyway. ;)

My first complete set were Wilson Sam Snead Blue Ridge circa 1974. Bought for £8 an iron.

Edit; as per @rulie

These look newer (and more like Haig Ultra) than the ones that I purchased (maybe was in 1963?)

Well...there is plenty in the way of judgmental stuff about the ladies game. BTW - ask the obvious question and the answer is currently usually Charley Hull...does that make her #1 in the world? well maybe not. Aha! the flaw in anything judgmental - it's subjective. ;)
