I went for 9 holes after nights this morning. I pushed my 1st tee shot oob made a triple bogey. I then sh*n**d 4 (yes 4!) tee shots on the 2nd and walked back in.
I haven't hit a Sh**k in over 15 years, so 4 was a hell of a shock.

Has anyone cut an intended round any shorter than this ?

Only cut a round short due to slow play, off after 3 holes took over 1 hour....but i cant walk off if im playing poorly, i have to keep on going till i hit a few decent shots, just to prove to myself that i haven completly lost it all lol.

If i walked off it would be playing on my mind the next time i played

im similar, gotta keep going until i hit something that resembles a golf shot!!! i did however walk off during a medal after shanking my way round to the 8th hole, but had had enough so spat out the dummy and walked !

Yes, I was once going out for a "few holes" after some crossed words with the Mrs. Snap hooked two out of bounds, decided golf was maybe not the best therapy after all and headed for a pint straight from the first tee !!

I was close to walking off after 4 holes yesterday in our Wednesday Stableford Comp. The front half is pretty easy 4 drivable par 4s and a couple of straightforward par 3s and normally get at least 18 points. Only scored 5 points for the front 9 :D
But got 19 point on the back nine which is much harder, glad I kept playing but only just.

I was close on monday but i played the 8 holes i intended to.

I played really well on saturday and stood on the 7th tee 3 over par which is alot better than the normal 8 or 9 and went round in 88 which i was chuffed with.

I went to to play 8 holes monday evening and just played rubbish. I lost 6 balls including 2 in a lake from the 2nd tee and gave up marking the card by the 3rd hole because the scores were just to depressing. Still atleast i got it out the way when i wasnt going to play 18 anyway so i'm confident of a better round tomorrow ;)

I once walked off after hitting 3 shots!! first is a par 3 and made par. however i had to wait 30 minutes to hit my first. got to the second tee and they took another 20 mins before getting out of my firing line.

couldn't stand anymore of it so went home

First Medal a couple of weekends back was a blow out for me. I have been swinging a club all winter to give myself a good chance this season, only for it to fall apart.

Just could not do anything right, think my back was hurting, so I was holding back, front nine, 53 :)

I could have walked off after the 5th, but as was scoring some one elses card I soldiered on, thing is since then my confidence has been shattered some what :(

Took the swing changes onto the course for first time tonight. First shot straight right and lost ball. However great drives down two and three and then a crap drive down four and five. Thinned tee shot at six and then cut through to fifteen where it was better. Drive of the night down sixteen then lost a ball right on seventeen and hit the worse drive of the night on the last.

Where I hit the good drives I parred every hole so there is something to work on. I just can't find any level of consistancy but it never crossed my mind to jack it in. The only time that happened was about a month ago but played through it and starting to get the rewards
