Ok people......

No surprise to people on here about both my legs not exactly working the way they are supposed to so im after a really comfortable stable shoe for the summer... Preferably waterproof (just in case)...

Also i wouldnt say that i dress flamboyantly but after buying 3 new pairs of Dunlop trousers in their new range (The ones with the check and the pocket details in white) i suppose that the shoe will need to compliment the pants....

I have a black,Grey,Black with the check, and a Beige pair...... Also these pants seem to be of the slender fit variety where the legs are straight cut rather than a little wider....I guess more aimed at the younger golfer... Closing in on the 40 mark so i dont want to look like a 20 yr old either.....

Budget is very tight so im looking for maybe last years models or even the previous years at a reduced price..(I dont want much do i)?
I was thinking of maybe FJ Contours in either brown or black.. Or maybe something in the Nike family....
I also looked at the FJ SoftJoys... Not sure what these are like... As im only looking on the net its hard to tell via images what is nice and what isnt...

All help greatly appreciated....

Other half loves the Contours which he finds support his dodgy arches BUT doesn't like how they perform in the wet as the leather seems to absorb the water. They don't leak BUT look like they do and hence feel a bit like they do plus then have water tide marks on the leather.

Bought a pair of Puma Tux Lux (last yrs recently) for just under £50, unbelievable value for what they are. Worth having a look about the sites to see what they have in the sale in your size.

118golf for eg have an extra 30% off their sale prices tonight
clubhouse always worth a look
golfbase have some decent deals
etc etc

really is about finding something in stock in your size at a good price

Found them the exact same a few years ago when i had them Amanda.... They are like slippers to wear which i loved..... But like your better half says they do feel like they soak up the water...

I had the nike lunars and were the best shoe I've ever had. Super comfy and soft no wearing in at all. Played in some awful conditions and never had wet feet. Unfortunately after 15 months they started to come away from the sole on my smaller foot where the leather had creased more. Should be able to pick up cheap as the new ones are out.

What size are you, I have a pair of Adipure here, only worn them a couple of times for 9 holes. They are pristine, and when I say that I mean they do not look like they have been worn on the course.

They are a size 9, I wish I had gotten a 9.5 as these are the tiniest bit snug, and I am a firm believer in treating my feet like kings. After all they are supporting me almost all of every day. They are Black, I'm looking for £60 for them

Im a size 10-10.5 depending on the brand...
I have 360 ATV'S Pal..... Not a massive fan of the Adidas after having them..... Like you they are a very narrow fit..

I have worn FJ Contours all winter long and my feet have remained dry throughout.

However, my feet have started complaining a bit lately as the ground has dried up (I have profoundly flat feet, and the contours aren't big enough for me to wear with my insoles). If it stays dry I'll be switching to my FJ Contour Casuals, which hopefully will be a bit softer on my plates.
