Shoes

Get some Eccos when the new lines come in, so the existing range is discounted. I picked up some last years Streets for about £60 and I'd challenge anyone apart from real Ecco obsessives to notice they are not from the latest range.

I bought a paif of adidas golf shoes at AG last March, took them back in july as they were not waterproof, AG gave me full refund against the nice pair of Footjoys I bought instead.

Gave up on Adidas shoes a good while ago. On my 3rd pair of FJ Contour Boa and will be buying another pair when the current pair give up. Also have a very comfy pair of Ecco Street but they're not very waterproof - definitely a summer shoe

Only pair of shoes I've ever thrown away before being worn out was a pair of Bite BioSport .... truly awful, uncomfortable, dreadful worst shoes ever (for me).

I currently have, 2 pairs of Nike (both still waterproof and comfortable), a pair of Puma (comfortable, never worn in the wet), a pair of hi-tec (waterproof and now comfortable after swapping out the insoles), and 3 pairs of Adidas (a pair of boots that have been sensational over the winter in all weathers, and 2 pairs of 360's which have no issues in the wet and are the most comfortable I own, neither pair has any issue with the heel).

+1. If you look round ebay or the discount golf sellers you can normally pick up the Ecco World Class half price, if you are anywhere near junction 8 of the M25 try the Internet Golf Shop on the A217. Last pair of Comfort classics from there were £55.

Christ, I thought it was only women who had a shoe fetish. But they look mere amateurs compared to you.

Love my Fj's, I have tired Nike & Adidas, got to say I did like the Nike's but the Adidas shoes were rubbish, about as waterproof as a teabag.

But now back with Fj's and very happy to stick with them, which is handy seeing as I now have 7 pairs.

Had 2 pairs of Adidas in 4 months last year, lovely to look at and comfortable but both leaked and and wore right through at the heal in a matter of just weeks.

Gave up on them and switched to Nike shoes and have to say the quality of them is far superior, I don't know anyone thats not had adidas shoes without them wearing through.

Had exactly the same problem with a pair of Adidas Powerband. Great out of the box but within a year I had worn holes in the 'memory foam' heel.
Went back to Footjoys (FJ Sport) again and am very satisified with these.

Looks like I've been lucky with my Adidas Tour360 4.0 shoes!

I've two pairs, (black for the winter months and white for the summer. ) Admittedly I look after them by frequently cleaning them with URAD waterproofer/conditioning wax but I've been perfectly happy with them - they're both comfortable and waterproof.

Never really noticed my Adidas shoes (3 pairs) wearing in the heels, although they probably did, but my tour 360 were crap at keeping water out, they used to leak if my towel dripped on them! Doubt I would ever buy Adidas again. Had a pair of nike lunar control but lately these seem to be a bit leaky aswell. Currently looking for new shoes for the season ahead and although I like the new nike oh are I might try something else.

I used Footjoy AQLs for years but decided to buy some dryjoys recently.I really didn't like them, felt like my feet were glued to the ground and I felt like I couldn't turn after impact.
Ive since bought some Ecco Bioms, very nice indeed and very comfortable. I never thought I'd stray from Footjoys but these Eccos Feel the Business up to now. Highly recommended.

Ecco Biom's are the ones that I have, mine are the lime green version, comfy and great to look at and very light to wear

I very nearly bought the Lime green. I had the Green on one foot Red on the other. ...Tough choice but I plumbed for the Red;)

There not the cheapest of shoe are they. Broke my heart paying that amount for a pair or shoes :o
